The state government has appointed KSRTC as the implementing agency to establish and operate RVSF. Their scope of work will include planning, establishing, operating and maintaining RVSF.

As per reports, the firm chosen for the project will run RVSF for a period of 15 years under a public private partnership model.

On completion of tenure for 15 years the firm has to transfer the RVSF centres to KSRTC with all machinery and equipment in good working condition.
