Thiruvananthapuram, May 8 (KNN) During a recently held investors meet, 24 of the 121 investors forwarded their letters of interest for an investment of Rs 381.75 crore in various sectors of Kattakada constituency.

The Kattal Industrial Development Council (KIDC) and the department of industry and commerce had organised the meet.

The aim was to make Kattakada an industry-friendly constituency by leveraging the potential of the proposed Vizhinjam Port, the associated outer ring road and the unique business-friendly environment of the constituency.

In the investors meet, the startup entrepreneurs from different sectors of the constituency shared their ideas with the investors.

This was followed by a presentation by land utilisation board commissioner A Nizamuddin on the investment potential of Kattakada.

Industries minister P Rajeeve virtually inaugurated the concluding session.

He said the meeting of investors in the Kattakada will be a model for the state, which will help to welcome more investment to Kerala’s industrial sector and start new ventures.

At the concluding session, district collector Geromic George received letters of interest from investors willing to invest in the Kattakada constituency.  (KNN Bureau)
