KIADB prepares detailed project report for Mysore Export Centre

Mysuru, Dec 12 (KNN) The Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) has prepared the detailed project report for the Mysore Export Centre which is to be set up with a total project cost of Rs 8.70 crores.

The  Export Centre will be set up with a total project cost of  Rs.8.70 crores with financial assistance of Rs 3 crores from Government of India and 4 crore from Government of Karnataka.

R Guru, Coordinator for the preparation of Design, Plan and Detail Project Report for the proposed Mysore Export Centre has handed over DPR & Plans to Sri Vasu, MLA, & President of Mysore Industries Association (MIA).

The Plan, Elevation & estimate and DPR has been prepared by the Consultant appointed by KIADB under the guidance and input of the co-ordination committee headed by R Guru Managing Partner NR Group and Dr Muthukumar, Chairman, CII, along with other exporters and Officials of KIADB, VTPC & DIC

Guru said that Mysore district stands second in Industrial development in the State and emphasized that facilities have to be provided to industries to export more and more products.  He requested all the industrialists to make use of the facilities available in the Proposed Mysore Export Centre.

Vasu has assured to provide all cooperation and assistance from the Government to establish this World class Export Centre at Mysore. (KNN Bureau)
