New Delhi, Feb 22 (KNN) In a recent interaction, The Lt. Governor of Poducherry Kiran Bedi met Minister of State (I/C) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Giriraj Singh and urged him to visit the Union Territory.

Bedi requested the Minister to explore possible ways of promoting the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in her region.

Bedi in a tweet through her official twitter handle informed about the meeting.

“A chance meeting at Delhi Airport with Honble Minister Shri Giriraj Singh, Minister for MSME, GOI. Invited him to visit Puducherry to promote small and medium industry and encourage rural and urban entrepreneurship & employment”, Bedi tweeted.

The two also deliberated on expand the Khadi sector and the COIR industry in Poducherry.

Responding to the tweet by Bedi, Giriraj Singh informed fruitful short talk was held between the two during their interaction at the Delhi Airport o the KVIC and COIR sector and their role in generating employment opportunities. (KNN/DA)
