KVIB VC asks stakeholders to make Jammu bee clusters operational by March 31, 2023

Srinagar, Nov 16 (KNN) Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat Vice Chairperson J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB) has urged all stakeholders to cooperate in start the functioning of bee clusters in Jammu by March 31, 2023.

Bhat held a review meeting on Tuesday under the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI).

During the meeting it was discussed that the Jammu Division will get three beekeeping clusters.

The total project cost is about Rs 4.08 crore, the stakeholders were informed.

State Director MSME-DI Jammu, Secretary/CEO J&K KVIB, Dy. CEO (P/R/S) J&K KVIB, Divisional Officer J&K KVIB Jammu and other stakeholders attended the meeting.

More than 600 beekeepers associated with these clusters will be benefitted once they are operational.  (KNN Bureau)
