KVIC, Jharkhand pledges recruitment of 14,496 people in FY23

Ranchi, Aug 4 (KNN) The Jharkhand office of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has set a target to provide employment to 14,496 people in the current financial year 2022-23.

It also aims to establish 1812 new PMEGP units in the State for which total Rs 57.14 crore has been sanctioned.

During the financial year 2021-22 it reported sale worth of Rs 34.04 crore, providing direct employment to 2796 people.

This has made its role significant in employment generation in the State.

It ran total 34 institutions and 108 outlets to sell its products in the previous fiscal year with Khadi production of Rs 20.66 crore.  (KNN Bureau)
