Lucknow IT City project to be completed by October 2016 using special pre-fab technique

Lucknow, Sept 15 (KNN) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has said that the IT City project in the state capital was of prime importance for its development of the state and added that while on one hand this would lead to major opportunities of jobs and employment-centric training, it would also lead to large-scale investment.
 
The chief minister also desired that the IT City project is completed as soon as possible.
 
Yadav made these observations during a meeting with HCL Founder and chairman of the Shiv Nadar Foundation, Shiv Nadar, at his official residence.
 
The IT City project of the state government is being executed by HCL. Shiv Nadar assured the Chief Minister that keeping in mind the priority of the state government, special pre-fab technique would be used to complete the IT City project by October 2016, said a press release.
 
In the first phase, as many as a thousand people will get employment through the project. He also added that while executing the project, quality would be accorded top priority.
 
With regards to discharge of its social responsibilities, the Shiv Nadar Foundation is conducting 'Project Samuday' in Hardoi district's selected villages, Shiv Nadar apprised the Chief Minister that work was being done to usher in comprehensive development in these villages.
 
This would include special focus on education, health, sustenance, clean potable water and basic infrastructure. A work list has been prepared on this five parameters work is being done to ensure job-centric training for increase in income of the rural people, arranging for clean drinking water, ensuring availability of toilets and power to all families and bringing within reach of the people primary health facilities, the release added.
 
Also present during the meeting on September 12 were MP Dimple Yadav, principal secretary (rural development) Deepak Trivedi, specials secretary to the CM; JS Naveen Kumar and senior representatives of HCL and Shiv Nadar Foundation. (KNN Bureau)
