Ludhiana, Jan 18 (KNN) The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU)  with Central Tools Room (CTR) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Germany handed over 1950 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Kits to local health authorities to fight COVID-19.

S Upkar Singh Ahuja said that CICU is closely working with GIZ recently established innovation centre at CICU while Honey Sethi Joint Secretary CICU mentioned that GIZ services are very useful for the industry.

''Responding to COVID-19 pandemic the Central Tool Room (CTR), Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in association with RNW Techno Enterprises, GIZ India and CICU-Ludhiana, S Upkar Singh Ahuja and A P Sharma, General Manager, CTR - Ludhiana handed over 1950 to Dr. Gulshan Rai Mehta, representing Sr. Medical Officer (Administration), Civil Hospital, Ludhiana for the front line health warriors,'' CICU said.

During the occasion R R Sharma, RNW Techno Enterprises, Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU, Ludhiana, Honey Sethi Joint Sec CICU, Sharnpal Singh, Manager Production, CTR, Jagdeep Saini, Manager Training, CTR, Mr Ankush Datta, Engineer, CTR, VN Sharma, assistant administrative officer were present.
