Bhopal, Jan 23 (KNN) Government of Madhya Pradesh is organising a 'Friends of MP Conclave' on February 1, 2015 in New York where its website ‘Friends of MP’ will be launched.

The web portal will be a platform for a talent pool of individuals to share their ideas, sponsor a project or undertake volunteer work for the development of the country.

“I am launching ‘Friends of MP’, a talent pool of individuals of Indian origin or otherwise, living outside MP who are passionate about becoming a part of our success story, said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

The site will initially cover five sectors such as education, health, skill development, rural development and tourism. Gradually, these sectors of engagement would be further expanded.

The initiative is aligned to the vision of the Prime Minister’s that each state should constitute its own global talent pool as a network of its friends wherever in the world they may be, and utilize their experience and talent for the country’s development.

“I am glad to announce that Madhya Pradesh has taken a lead in creating such a talent pool with the involvement of the vast and widespread well-wishers of MP,” said Chouhan. (KNN/ST)
