Madhya Pradesh MSME Minster confirms approval for startup policy

Indore, April 26 (KNN) The MSME Minister of Madhya Pradesh Om Prakash Saklecha has confirmed that the state’s startup policy has been approved and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch it soon.

In an effort to make Indore the startups' capital, the Madhya Pradesh government has been working on a comprehensive startup policy boosting its ecosystem.

Speaking at the 29th Foundation Day celebration of Laghu Udyog Bharati, MSME Minister Saklecha said, “Start-up policy has been approved and CM will come to Indore to launch the policy.”

We do not want to restrict the startups of Indore to Dubai. Hence our policies will assist them with easy financing, banking facilities and facilitate entrepreneurs in day-to-day business activities, he added.

A 200 per cent growth target has been set for the drone technology and various other sectors, said the minister.

The MSME Minister has also confirmed that the state government is forming a technology board for helping MSMEs, startups and entrepreneurs in areas of technical support. (KNN Bureau)
