Bhopal, Jan 9 (KNN) Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during an interaction with the NRIs and industrialists at the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas on Sunday invited them to be part of Madhya Pradesh’s renewable energy journey.

Chouhan pointed out that the state government has been continuously working in the field of renewable energy in places like Shajapur, Neemuch, Chhatarpur and Morena.

“The renewable energy sector has been given a substantial boost. We will ensure assistance as per the state policy for investment in renewable energy sector,” he said.

As part of its efforts to boost the sector, Madhya Pradesh is also setting up a 600 megawatt floating plant at Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh. In previous years, benefits have been received from the solar power project in Rewa.

The CM also said that the state will provide all help to boost investment and employment in various sectors of the state.

Madhya Pradesh has become a leader in many fields. The state government is taking steps for the development of information technology, pharmaceutical, agriculture, tourism, health, food processing and textile industries.  (KNN Bureau)
