Maha govt's norms to start non-essential goods manufacturing units aren’t practical: MSMEs
Sangli, Apr 20 (KNN) Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sangli have expressed their dissatisfaction over the government norms to start few industries engaged in manufacturing of non-essential goods.
Krishna Valley Chamber of Industries & Commerce (KVCIC), Chairman, Satish Malu has in his letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray that ''norms mentioned by the Government of Maharashtra to start the non-essential goods manufacturing industries are very complicated.''
''Unfortunately, almost all the MSMEs won’t be able to fulfil the norms to resume the operations. It reflects that government does not have intention to grant permissions to run industries and is willing to buy time,'' he added.
Malu further said that with such impractical norms units in Kupwad MIDC Dist Sangli won’t be able to resume operations.
''Industry owners are sharing their dissatisfaction over the government norms,'' he added.
