Maharashtra University of Health Sciences goes for e-journal

Nashik, Nov 5 (KNN) Keeping pace with the global education system, the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) wants to publish its own journal titled, “Journal of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences” (JMUHS) online.
In this context, MUHS seeks consultants for implementation and management of online manuscript system and printing of the official JMUHS Journal of the University.
MUHS, Nashik is a state level Health Sciences University.
“JMUHS will be a peer-reviewed journal of MUHS. This journal is a landmark step towards fulfilment of the MUHS’s objective of creation and dissemination of knowledge and the spirit of intellectual inquiry and sustained pursuit of excellence through cutting edge research,” MUHS said in a notification.
MUHS has also sought original contributions from faculty, clinical practitioners, policy makers, researchers, administrators, and learners in the health professions for its e-journal.
The e-journal will have a complete system, as per laid down international standards for medical journals.
The journal will also have its own website, linked to the website of the publisher and also through one of the medical search engines. These sites will be established and maintained from time to time.
MUHS was incorporated on June-3 1998 for the purposes of ensuring proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training and research in modern medicine and Indian Systems of Medicine in the State of Maharashtra. (KNN/SD)
