Nagpur, Feb 27 (KNN) The government is making efforts to bring mega projects in the Nagpur region, said Nagpur Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidari on Sunday at a gathering.

Addressing the 40th Foundation Day celebrations of MIDC Industries Association (MIA) held at MIA House, Hingna, Nagpur she said that the new projects would create job opportunities for the youths.

Bidari was the chief guest of the function while Joint Director of Industries Gajendra Bharati was the guest of honour. President of MIA Capt. C M Randhir, and Secretary P Mohan were also present.

Bharati urged the industrialist to provide the details of their units to take benefit of the State and central Government schemes.

He also highlighted the recent changes made by the Government of India for MSMEs.

In his welcome speech, Capt C M Randhir (Retd.) spoke about various difficulties being faced by the industries in Hingna MIDC industrial area.

On every Foundation Day, MIA recognises success of few out-standing industrialists by giving them “Entrepreneurial Excellence Award”.  (KNN Bureau)
