Maharashtra Unveils AI-Driven Personal Protective Equipment for Workplace Safety
Mumbai, Apr 1 (KNN) In a move towards enhanced workplace safety, Maharashtra's Industry Minister Uday Samant inaugurated AI-powered Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on Sunday.
The initiative, led by Extremus Safety Pvt. Ltd., marks a significant milestone in leveraging artificial intelligence to ensure the safety of industrial workers.
Speaking at the launch event, Minister Uday Samant lauded the immense contributions of India's workforce to the nation’s industrial growth.
Stressing the importance of safety, he stated, "Progress should never come at the cost of worker safety. The government is committed to strengthening industrial safety laws, enforcing strict compliance, and supporting industries that prioritise employee well-being."
The newly launched AI-driven PPE system by Extremus Safety Pvt. Ltd. is equipped with state-of-the-art features such as real-time hazard detection, smart monitoring, and predictive safety measures.
These advancements will enable workers to operate in a secure and controlled environment, significantly reducing workplace risks.
Minister Samant praised Extremus Safety Pvt. Ltd. for this innovative step and encouraged all industries to integrate advanced technology into their safety protocols.
