Mentoring first generation entrepreneurs

Ludhiana, Jan 23 (KNN)  As a step towards mentoring first generation entrepreneurs on various schemes available to them under the Niryat Bandhu Scheme, particularly relating to export promotion, a exporters meet will be held here.

Organised by the Office of the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade Ludhiana, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India in association with Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), Punjab Chapter, the mega exporters meet on ‘Mentoring First Generation Entrepreneurs’ will be held on January-30.         
                                
The session will cover a detailed presentation on various schemes particularly on Niryat Bandhu Scheme available with O/o Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Ludhiana and how novice exporters can take benefit from those export promotion schemes.

In addition, a presentation on the Indian Trade Portal - www.indiantradeportal.in recently unveiled by the Commerce and Industry Minister, Government of India will be made available to them as also an insight into FIEO activities, the organization’s scope and goals.  

The Indian Trade Portal provides information on trade agreements, MFN and preferential tariffs, SPS/TBT measures adopted by various countries including India, export markets, import sources, FAQs on exports right from matters like “How to Export” to technical matters concerning customs, trade policy, banking etc.  

Senior officials from NSIC will also be present to focus on the areas of international trade and subsidies. (KNN/ES)
