MHHDCL starts handloom expo in Tripura after wrapping Delhi event

Agartala, June 1 (KNN) The Manipur Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited  (MHHDCL) has commenced the National Handloom Expo 2022 in Tripura on June 1 at  Abhoynagar, Agartala.

Earlier this week the MHHDCL concluded its Expo at Delhi Haat and Janakpuri in New Delhi which was sponsored by the Development Commissioner for Handlooms and Ministry of Textile.

Well-established weavers and artisans of the state participated in the expo, which began from May 18 and they were able to attract large number of visitors.

Visesh Nautiyal, Weavers’ Service Centre, New Delhi director (north zone), MHHDCL general manager (administration) and Panthoibi Manipur Emporium, New Delhi manager Lanchenba Ch were the chief guest, president and guest of honour at the closing ceremony.  (KNN Bureau)
