MIA seeks consent letters from MSMEs to provide apprenticeship training

Mysuru, Aug 4 (KNN) In a bid to provide apprenticeship training for the COVID impact migrants and Job Seekers, Mysore Industries Association (MIA) has requested consent letters from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.

MIA is in the process of implementing an industry apprenticeship Initiative under the Ministry of Skill development and Entrepreneurship through Director General of Training (DGT), said a statement from the industry body.

The MSME’s will be provided 25 per cent of Stipend to the extent of maximum Rs 1500 per candidate by the government. Interested MSME’s are requested to submit a consent letter through the websites www.mysuruindustries.in or www.msmemysuru.com.

The said project is jointly funded by government of India and World bank to provide skill development training through National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
