MP Coop body to set up six rice mills

Bhopal, Jan 17 (KNN)  The Madhya Pradesh State  Cooperative Marketing Federation Limited (Markfed) today announced plans to set up rice mills in five districts of the state.

The districts where the plants are to be set up are:  Balaghat, Jabalpur, Seoni (2 locations), Satna and Bhind.

In this regard, the Markfed invites bids from original manufacturers for supply, erection and commissioning of six rice mills of capacity 8 MT/hr.

All the rice mills will have to be equipped with paddy cleaner (fine) with blower and motor, de-stoner, de-husker, pneumatic sheller, husk aspirator, paddy separator, white plus polisher, silk plus polisher, sifter, compressor, elevator, etc.

Suppliers should also take care of building and foundation, as well as lighting, fitting, bulbs, fans; and other civil and electrical works required to run a standard rice mill.

The scope of work also includes final painting of machinery and equipment wherever necessary; first filling of lubricant; erection, supervision and commissioning of rice mill including all consumables; packing of the machinery and equipment wherever necessary; transportation of machinery with unloading of machinery; on site monitoring and supervision of the plant for first 12 months after successful commissioning of the plant under "Defect Warranty Period".
