MP govt to form committee for providing facilities to SC & ST entrepreneurs

Bhopal, Oct 13 (KNN) The Madhya Pradesh government will set up a state-level committee to provide facilities to entrepreneurs belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.

This was announced by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday evening.

He was addressing the SC/ST Mega Business Conclave and Expo organised by Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI). 

Speaking at the event, the CM said, “After coming to this programme, I can see a new light and illumination in the form of a new social and economic revolution to be done by the DICCI for the SC, ST communities.”       

"A state-level committee will be constituted in Madhya Pradesh to provide facilities to the entrepreneurs from SC, ST communities," he said.       

DICCI national president Ravi Kumar Narra expressed gratitude towards the Madhya Pradesh government for extending cooperation to the chamber and assured that it would strive towards creating as many entrepreneurs as possible.       

DICCI's MP chapter president Dr Anil Sirvaiyya said innovations were being done by the organisation for generating employment in rural areas.

Union Minister of State for Steel and Rural Development Faggan Singh Kulaste, Madhya Pradesh ministers Dr Prabhuram Choudhary, Om Prakash Sakhlecha and Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, among others, were present on the occasion.  (KNN Bureau)
