MSME Development Office in Srinagar initiates weekly handholding sessions on schemes

Shopian, Dec 2 (KNN) MSME Development and Facilitation office Srinagar has started weekly handholding sessions on schemes of Ministry of MSME to benefit the MSMEs.

This initiative has been taken to address greater issues than lack of awareness among entrepreneurs with regards to the recently introduced/ modified schemes of the Ministry of MSME, reported Rising Kashmir.

Assistant Director MSME Saheel Alaqband said that only awareness about recently introduced/ modified schemes of the Ministry of MSME will not help.

“Therefore, weekly hand-holding sessions are required for manufacturing or service based MSMEs,” he added.

During the inaugural programme, three schemes were presented which involved the Procurement and Marketing Support Scheme, MSME Sustainable (Zed) and MSME Innovative Scheme.

Few Entrepreneurs applied on spot during the programme as the whole process is made online by the Ministry.   (KNN Bureau)
