Commenting on the programme, General Secretary of Manesar Industries Welfare Association (MIWA), Manmohan Gaind said, “A very small percentage from the MSME segment is availing the benefits of the schemes introduced by the department as most of us are not even aware of the schemes. But such orientation and interactive sessions could help the ministry to reach out to grass root level and people would certainly benefit.”

Echoing similar sentiments, an entrepreneur from Manesar, Arun Gupta said, “Most of us were not even aware of the schemes introduced by the Ministry so how can we avail benefits them them?”

“It was an ideal opportunity to learn about them and take advantage of the schemes on offer.  Such programmes are certainly a boon for the industry and should be organised more often,” he added.  (KNN/ES)
