MSME Support and Outreach Program unveiled at Puri and Jamshedpur

New Delhi, Nov 3 (KNN) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the flagship program for MSMEs in hundred districts of the country at Vigyan Bhavan, Union Minister of Steel Chaudhary Birender Singh unveiled MSME Support and Outreach Program (‘Sahajog and Sampark’) in Puri district of Odisha to give a boost to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

For this, a 100 cluster has been selected across the country, out of which, Jamshedpur is also the one. 

The objective of program is to facilitate the small and medium entrepreneurs in entry to market, gain of knowledge about various schemes, purchase and sale of their products and their direct transaction and benefits.

Through video conferencing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced 12 measures to boost MSMEs in his address and encouraged small entrepreneurs.

This program is being organized to provide credit, access and market facilities to small, medium and medium industries and to provide the benefits of various social security schemes to those who are employed in these industries.

Under the initiative, steps have been taken for MSME solution, trade receivable discounting system, cluster development, skill development, rural self-employment training and Government e-marketing plus, etc.
