MSMEs are hidden jewels: Odisha Minister Pratap Keshari Deb

Bhubaneswar, July 2 (KNN) The state government and the industry need to evolve and work on better partnership for the development of industrial sector in Odisha, said State Minister for Energy, Industries and MSME Pratap Keshari Deb.
“These are times that we should not only focus on large industries sector but put our hands and feet into the middle, small and micro industries where the real jewel is hidden,” he said.
He said this is a age of partnership and gone are those days when the government formulated policy and thrust it upon the industry.
The Minister was speaking at a programme organised by the Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry earlier this week.
He called for better coordination between the state and industry and said that a giver-taker tug-of-war situation must be avoided.
“Everyone has now realised the mega and metro cities of the country have reached a saturation point in holding and delivering,” he added.
Highlighting the progress of Odisha he said that it has turned into a new job for entrepreneurship, education and skill development. (KNN Bureau)
