Mysuru Industries Association to conduct awareness programme on MSME Data Bank

Bengaluru, Dec 14 (KNN) The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has pitched in Mysore Industries Association (MIA) to encourage more and more MSMEs in the region get themselves registered with the MSME Ministry’s Data Bank.

MIA Secretary, Suresh Kumar Jan, said, “With the support of NSIC we are organizing an awareness programme on MSME Data Bank this weekend for MSMEs.”

Under the programme, the MSMEs will be informed about importance of furnish the information relating to their enterprise online to the Central Government in the Data Bank.

NSIC, in a communication to MIA, wrote, “The objective of the databank is to have one-stop source of information of MSMEs of India and the decision has also been taken that no grant or subsidy will be given to any MSMEs unless the data is captured on the MSME Databank.”

 NSIC sought MIA’s help in decimate the information amongst MSME entrepreneurs and ask them to register themselves on MSME Databank portal. (KNN/RAS)
