Mysuru MSMEs hail Centre’s announcement to construct over bridge on Mysore KRS Road

Mysuru, Feb 13 (KNN) The Mysuru based micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are happy with the central government’s decision for approving construction of Road over Bridge (ROB)/Road Under Bridge (RUB) at railway level crossing near Crawford Hall and Mysore KRS Road near Hotel Golden Landmark.

The Mysuru Industries Association (MIA) said, “In the Union Budget announced by Finance Minister, as a step forward for finding permanent solution for easing the traffic congestion at the level crossings in the city, approved construction of Road over Bridge (ROB)/Road Under Bridge (RUB) at railway level crossing near Crawford Hall and Mysore KRS Road near Hotel Golden Landmark.”

The Association hailed Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and Mysore-Kodagu MP Prathap Simha for sanctioning of these two projects.

“This project will be implemented on cost sharing basis by the State & Central Government,” MIA said.

MIA said the MSMEs have been demanding since a decade for construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) near Golden Land Mark.

“With this Over Bridge it will be helpful and also time saving for the industries situated in Hebbal, Belagola, Metagalli Industrial areas and also in the Mandya District,” said Suresh Kumar Jain, Secretary, Mysore Industries Association.  (KNN Bureau)
