Naini in Prayagraj to soon see new small scale industries, revival of lost economic growth & jobs

Prayagraj, Mar 31 (KNN) Once a booming industrial belt of Naini district in Prayagraj has since long being witnessing closure of almost all the heavy and light industries, which were once the pride of the district. The Uttar Pradesh Goverment is now planning revival of the industries especially the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) so that the district once again sees economic growth and generation of jobs for local youths.

The newly appointed Cabinet Minister and BJP MLA from Allahabad South Assembly seat Nand Gopal Gupta has said that Naini will soon see a number of small scale industries.

The industrial belt of Naini was once famous for a number of prominent industries which not only supplied its products across the country but also abroad. Industries like Bharat Pumps and Compressor Limited, ITI, Hindustan Cables etc were some of prominent industries which are either closed or on verge of getting closed.

Nandi’s statement has given a new ray of hope to locals who are struggling with unemployment and slowdown of economic activities of this region.

Nandi, who is the MLA from Allahabad South, is very excited about the plans for development of the Naini Industrial Area eversince he took oath as a Cabinet Minister in Yogi 2.0.

The minister’s remarks came after he met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. (KNN Bureau)
