NBCC complexes opportunities for traders in Meerut, Alwar, Saharanpur

New Delhi, Sep 13 (KNN) The government -owned National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) is planning to build  commercial and group housing complexes in Meerut, Alwar, Saharanpur and Bhubaneswar on land aggregating to 12.23 acres during the current fiscal. The development of the commercial estates by NBCC will given a fillip to traders and retailers in the tier-two cities.

“Real estate projects to come up on land admeasuring approximately 145 acres already procured by the company at different locations will result in taking care of the bottom line. Out of this land, the company purchased four land parcels in Bhubaneswar, Meerut, Saharanpur and Alwar for development of residential, commercial and group housing complexes aggregating to 12.23 acres during the current fiscal,” said Chairman of NBCC Anoop Kumar Mittal in his annual general meeting speech to the company shareholders.

These large value re-development works of projects management and consultancy will have substantially a positive impact on income.

Further, the thrust shall remain focussed on development of theses real estate projects in a strategic manner keeping in view overall development in the nearby location, opportune time to launch sale and the time involved in seeking various statutory approvals, he said.

Being fully aware of about the future needs of ever changing business dynamics, the corporation is looking into all possible avenues for expansion and diversification of the business mix for sustained growth. (KNN/Gunj)
