New Delhi to host 6th edition of Jewellery and Gem Fair, over 300 exhibitors on board

New Delhi, Sept 5 (KNN) In an attempt to connect the various stakeholders including merchants, manufacturers, jewellers, importers and exporters, UBM will be organizing the 6^th edition of the Delhi Jewellery and Gem Fair (DJGF) in the national capital from 9th till 11^th of September.

The event will be held at the Pragati Maidan and is expected to host over 300 exhibitors from different parts of the country.

The participation spread across sectors including jewellery wholesalers, retailers, importers and exporters, jewellery manufacturers, diamond, gemstone, pearl suppliers and traders, precious metal and jewellery mounting traders and suppliers.

Also representative from trade and governmental organisations are to be a part of the event.

During the event, National Institute of Diamond and Gems and Design Academy of India will be conducting sessions on various themes of interest of the sector.

Yogesh Mudra, MD of UBM India in a press statement informed that following the GST rollout and the slowdown in the sector, the event will prove to be an instrumental step towards the revival of the gems and jewellery business in the country.

He further informed that this year’s edition with over 300 exhibitors joining the expo, there is an increase of 80 per cent in the participation as compared to the previous year. (KNN/ DA)
