Lucknow, Jun 17 (KNN)  A state of art township comprising industrial, residential and institutional segments is being planned in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh.

According to officials, the township, which would be located around 12 kilometres from the district headquarter at Sikandrabad-Khurja road is being implemented by the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC).

The project is part of the central government’s USD 90 billion Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) project, which is integrated with the dedicated railway freight route between Delhi and Mumbai.

The UPSIDC has already started the process and is now seeking bids from architects firms for preparation of the concept plan for the township near Bulandshahr.
