NHHDC organises handloom expo in Dimapur, Nagaland

Dimapur, July 16 (KNN) The handloom expo organised by theNagaland handloom & handicrafts development corporation (NHHDC) Ltd is underway in Dimapur.

The primary objective of the exhibition is to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets and bridge the gap between the two in a holistic manner.

“This expo will provide marketing opportunities to handloom workers with a special focus on talented and uncovered weavers,” NHHDC said in a statement.

Zakabo V Rotokha, NHHDC managing director inaugurated the event on Friday.

Around 60 participants from Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh are exhibiting varieties of handloom products.

The handloom fair will conclude on July 28. (KNN Bureau)
