New Delhi, Aug 19 (KNN) In order to accelerate the process of enterprise creation in the West Bengal, the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) has proposed to computerise the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) facilitation centres (MFCs) in the state.

The West Bengal government has undertaken different initiatives including launching of a web-portal myEnterprise by the state Department of MSME&T.

“The web-portal disseminates seamless information about the policies, programmes, schemes etc. (central/state) aimed at promotion of MSMEs in the state. It also provides information about different approvals/clearances/ licenses etc. required for setting up and running an economic enterprise in the State,” said an official notification.

Towards this, NIESBUD is inviting bids from established and eligible agencies engaged in training, research, consulting, hand-holding of the MSMEs, liaison with the state government departments or consortia to run the MSME facilitation centres in the state.

MFCs will act as a single receiving and delivery point, window for all applications to any government entity for statutory compliances for setting up and running an economic enterprise. (KNN/ST)
