Nitin Agarwal gets the portfolio of Minister of State (IC) for MSME in UP

Lucknow, Nov 5 (KNN) Nitin Agarwal is the new Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Uttar Pradesh.  UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday allocated portfolios to 21 newly-inducted Ministers and reshuffled departments of 12 others, while retaining Health, Finance and Home departments with him.
 
The Chief Minister, on October 29, sacked five Cabinet Ministers and three Ministers of State (Independent Charge), while withdrawing portfolios of nine others.
 
Arvind Singh Gope, who was elevated as Cabinet Minister, has been allocated Rural Development. Balram Yadav has been given Secondary Education department and Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya has been allocated Stamp and Registration.
 
Vinod Kumar Singh alias Pandit Singh has been allocated Agriculture and the Forest Department has been given to Durga Prasad Yadav.
 
Awadhesh Prasad has been given Home Guard Department, whereas Paras Nath Yadav has been given Rural Engineering Services.
 
Ram Govind Chuadhary has been given Social Welfare, whereas Brahm Shanker Tripathi has been allocated Khadi and Village Industries.
 
Iqbal Mehmood has been allocated Food and Drug Administration, whereas Mehboob Ali has been given Sericulture and Textiles.
 
Kamal Akhtar has been given Food and Civil Supplies and Sahab Singh Saini Backward Welfare department.
 
Among the 15 Cabinet Ministers, former Shiromani Akali Dal leader Balwant Singh Ramoowalia has been allocated Prison department, whereas Ahmad Hasan has been given charge of Basic Education.
 
Ministers of State (Independent Charge) to whom portfolios have been allocated include Riyaz Ahmad (Fishries and Public Enterprises), Fareed Mehfooz Kidwai (Technical Education), Moolchandra Chauhan (Horticulture), Ram Sakal Gurjar (Youth Welfare), Nitin Agarwal (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), Yasar Shah (Transport), Madan Chauhan (Entertainment Tax) and Syyeda Shadab Fatima (Women Welfare).
 
Ministers of State to whom portfolios have been allocated include Waseem Ahmad (Child Development, Basic Education and Power), Shiv Pratap Yadav (Medical and Health), Radhey Shyam Singh (Agriculture), Shaildendra Yadav Lallai (Planning and Energy) and Omkar Singh Yadav (Rural Development).
 
The others are Tej Narain Pandey alias Pawan Pandey (Forest), Sudhir Kumar Rawat (IT and Electronics, Medical and Health), Hemraj Verma (Food and Civil Supplies), Laxmi Kant alias Pappu Nishad (Food and Civil Supplies), Banshidhar Baudh (Social Welfare and SC/ST Welfare). (KNN Bureau)
