North East explores entrepreneurial potential in food sector

Shillong, May 7 (KNN) Hosting the three day Northeast Food Show in Shillong, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has encouraged the region to explore its entrepreneurial potential in food sector and to create a space in the global market. 

He said the region can become a global platform if all the states work together to market the products.

The Northeast Food Show has given a platform for the entrepreneurs and farmers of the state and the northeast access to international markets, he added. 

Impressed by the progress made by Vietnam he said that we must draw inspiration and learn from them. 

Inaugurating the show at Polo Grounds, Shillong, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang lauded CM Sangma for conceptualising such an event that promotes farmers and agripreneurs and entrepreneurs from across the region.  (KNN Bureau)
