NSIC Coimbatore conducts Special Vendor Development Program for SC-ST entrepreneurs

New Delhi, Oct 4 (KNN) Eyeing at facilitating awareness among the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the region, the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) recently conducted Special Vendor Development Program for SC and ST entrepreneurs in Coimbatore region.

The branch office organized the program in collaboration with National Textile Corporation, Coimbatore.

The main focus of the program was to impart knowledge of the different NSIC Schemes.

Over 50 SC-ST Entrepreneurs of DICCI, CIAI and TANSIDA attended the program.

During the event sessions were conducted on different schemes that are offered to SC/ST Entrepreneurs by Tamil Nadu Government. Also a dedicated session was conducted on the schemes available from the MSME Ministry for the aspiring entrepreneurs.

Officials from Vijaya Bank, who were also a part of the workshop facilitation team, addressed the gathering regarding different schemes offered by banks.

Also during the event the National Textile Corporation its procurement process from the Medium and Small enterprises. (KNN/DA)
