Odisha govt calls for MSMEs in Jharkhand to invest in metal, chemical sectors

Jamshedpur, April 16 (KNN) The Odisha government has reached out to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Jharkhand with investment potential in metal, metal downstream, chemical and other sectors to invest in the state.

To interact with the industries of Jharkhand, the Odisha Government hosted an investors’ meet in Jamshedpur in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). 

At the meet, the Odisha government showcased the investment potential of the mineral rich state in various sectors such as metal, metal downstream and chemical.

The Industries Secretary Hemant Sharma presented the Investment potential in Odisha and emphasized the stable government of the state, its progressive policies, natural advantages, industry-led infrastructure development, availability of the industrial land and highly skilled human resources, which gives the state a competitive advantage over others.

Sharma also highlighted the ready-to-move industrial lands across the state and the competitive power and water tariffs to set up industries and manufacturing units.

The meet was attended by more than 120 delegates representing various large scale and MSME industries across Jharkhand.  (KNN Bureau)
