Odisha govt to revamp startup policy

Bhubaneswar, May 3 (KNN) The Odisha government is planning to make changes in their startup policy to meet all the requirements of the startups and entrepreneurs. 

Explaining his plans to strengthen the ecosystem, Hemanta Pradhan, Executive Chairman of Startup Odisha said the state will nurture young talent and create ecosystem in hub-and spoke model through O-hub of the Startup Odisha.

Pradhan highlighted the opportunities in different sectors such as mining, manufacturing etc. 

The service sector and IT sector is also flourishing in Bhubaneswar, said the newly appointed head. 

Boasting the state’s startup foundation he said that the Odisha government will create a kind of sensitization and a culture of ideation and

innovation in the grassroots. 

Odisha’s startup policy 2016 was introduced with an aim to develop a world class "Startup Hub" in the state by 2020. (KNN Bureau)
