Odisha MSME Trade Fair to start from March 5, to focus on food processing sector

New Delhi, Feb 27 (KNN) With an objective to explore business opportunities in food processing sector, the Odisha MSME is organizing Odisha MSME International Trade Fair, 2018 from March 5 to March 10, 2018.

More than 500 domestic and international delegates will attend this fair and will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The trade fair theme will be devoted to food processing sector and more than 350 stalls will be there in 6 Pavilion.

Pavilion-1 will be for international exhibitors and central public sector undertakings (CPSU’s).

Pavilion-2 will be for food processing and sea food MSME units.

Pavilion-3 will be for MSME’s led by women and Scheduled Castes/Tribes.

Pavilion-4 will be for MSME’s working in engineering and allied sectors
Pavilion-5 will be for Start-ups and exporters.

Stalls of different odia and continental cuisine and more than 15 food stalls will be set up by famous and reputed hotels and restaurants in the trade fair will be the cherry on the cake.

For the good of micro and small entrepreneurs seminars on MSME-related topics will be conducted during the trade fair.

The seminars would probably be addressed by Arun Panda, Secretary in the Ministry of MSME, JP Meena; Secretary in the Ministry of Food Processing and Managing Director of National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) Sundeep Nayak, among others.

The final preparatory meeting in this regard was held under the chairmanship of Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Prafulla Samal. (KNN/YV)
