Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur hosts district-level handloom expo till June 16

Jagatsinghpur, June 8 (KNN) The Odisha state handloom weavers coop society in collaboration with Union ministry of textiles and Jagatsinghpur civil administration is organising a District-level Handloom expo.

The Handloom expo was inaugurated by collector Parul Patwari at Collectorate ground on Tuesday. The event will conclude on June 16.

The aim of the expo is to facilitate sustainable livelihood for the weavers of the state. It will provide the weavers of the Jagatsinghpur district, a common platform to market their handloom products.

Around 25 stall have been set up by the weavers belonging from various districts. The expo is witnessing a large influx of local residents on daily basis.  (KNN Bureau)
