Office-cum-Storage Facility inaugurated in Zainakote to cater small scale entrepreneurs

New Delhi, Nov 16 (KNN) Development and promotion of small scale sector in the state is the prime focus of the present government, the Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga said at the inaugural of office-cum-Storage Facility at Industrial Estate, Zainakote, and Srinagar.

He said that the complex had been established at the cost of Rs.855.60 under state plan and PMDP package and will provide storage facility for various raw materials like steel, raw pashmina, cement, plastic granules, etc.

The Minister added that the new building would assist SICOP (J&K SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED) in its mission of providing efficient services to industrial units and government departments.

He also said that Jammu and Kashmir would soon be listed in the top 15 states in the list of ease of doing business in India and government is committed to provide better facilities for skill development and safe working environment for the established and new entrepreneurs.

The Minister of State for Industries & Commerce Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi who was also present during the event said that the state government has been committed to provide a suitable environment for development of small scale sector in the state. He added that various new industrial estates are at different stages of development and its govt’s priority to develop these estates in short span of time so that land could be available to the prospective entrepreneurs.
