One house One entrepreneur, CM Naidu reiterates

New Delhi, Mar 21 (KNN) Addressing the session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that in comparison of other southern states, AP is lagging behind in per capita terms due to bifurcation.

Stating importance that have been given to primary and secondary sector simultaneously, he said that the agriculture growth rate is 6 times better than the national average and also industrial sector growth rate was stood at 8.4% which is higher than the national average.

He said the major sector that needs a push is service sector as it is lagging behind.

Stressing on the state consistent growth, he said “we need all round development in all the three major sectors”

Talking about the CII Partnership summits that were being held to attract companies and investments, he said that these summits have yielded good results and government efforts have also yielded results in terms of providing employment to 14 lakh youth.

He further said “Internationally reputed companies in various segments have come down to AP and most of them started their operations too”.

He also shed light on the Kia motors and 16 ancillary companies’ arrival in drought hit Anantapuram district.

He also stated that along with Hero Motor Company that will come soon to AP, many are in queue.

Giving priority to entrepreneurship he said “we want to develop one entrepreneur from one house and also support MSMEs which can generate employment at your door step.” (KNN/YV)
