Online facilities for Haryana entrepreneurs

Chandigarh, Dec 26 (KNN) In order to make filing of entrepreneurs’ memorandum process easier for the entrepreneurs, through anytime anywhere registration without any hassle, the Haryana government, on Thursday, launched online filing of entrepreneurs' memorandum, said a media report.

The initiative was taken up under micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) Development Act 2006 in the state.

According to the report, the state Industries and Commerce Department Principal Secretary Devender Singh said that the online facility will help obtaining the acknowledgement of entrepreneurs’ memorandum within eight working hours.

It will also facilitate more than 88,000 existing registered small-scale industries with regard to filing of memorandum, in respect of any change such as,  investment in plant and machinery, products, constitution, category, location and name of enterprise.

Singh said that the department wants to make filing of entrepreneurs’ memorandum mandatory for creating complete statistics or data bank for reflecting actual industrial growth in the state.

It will also digitize data of all existing industrial units on the portal within a period of next two months to create the centralized data bank with respect to various categories of industries. (KNN Bureau)
