Organic food fair in Shimla to encourage farmers

Shimla, Jun 26 (KNN) Understanding the need for tapping the full potential of organic farming in the state, a three-day annual organic fair and food festival will be held starting June-28 to create awareness amongst farmers and consumers.
Consumers will be treated to the taste of organic food with dishes made of organic vegetables and pulses in food courts specially created for the purpose.
A seminar cum workshop will be simultaneously held for farmers to showcase and sell their products.
The International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture and state-run Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation have jointly organised the fair. (KNN)
