Over 2,000 women entrepreneurs to participate in Kochi WE Summit 2015

Kochi, August 6 (KNN) More than 2,000 women entrepreneurs, 200 exhibitors and several national and international agencies will be participating in the Women Entrepreneurs Summit (WE Summit 2015) to be held at Kochi on November 19.
This was informed by Kerala Industries and IT Minister, PK Kunhalikutty at an interface programme of KSIDC held here on Wednesday where over 600 women entrepreneurs from Thiruvananthapuram district participated.
WE Summit is being organised by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) in coordination with Kudumbashree and MSME-DIC (Micro Small & Medium Enterprises, Department of Industries and Commerce).
The sectors in focus at the event will be garments, education, agriculture, food processing, light engineering, retail and hospitality.
The summit will feature sector-specific discussions, one-to-one interactive meetings, and exhibition of products.
It will honour best women-led entrepreneurs in Kerala and also declare state women ambassadors and awards will be presented to the best exhibitors. (KNN Bureau)
