New Delhi, Oct 7 (KNN)  Panchkula in Haryana will most probably be developed as one of the smart cities, highly advanced in terms of overall infrastructure, sustainable real estate, communications and market viability.

This was stated by Minister of state for coal, power and renewable energy, Piyush Goyal while interacting with entrepreneurs, industrialists and poultry farmers in the Haryana district yesterday.

The Minister also assured them of 24X7 power supply for both domestic and industrial purposes.

Government of India has envisioned the concept of building 100 smart new cities in the country that will have better facilities, better connectivity and better environment.

During the discussions, president of the district unit of Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industries (HCCI), Vishnu Goyal asked the Minister to ensure implementation of the MSME Act to help industrialists in the state.

On the other hand, President, Poultry Farmers, Parmod Goyal raised concerns about increased power tariff.  (KNN/ES)
