PM to inaugurate Bengaluru Tech Summit 2020 on Nov 19

Bengaluru, Nov 18 (KNN) The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Bengaluru Tech Summit on 19th November through video conferencing. 

Government of Karnataka along with Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Karnataka government’s Vision Group on Information Technology, Biotechnology & StartUp, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications are organising the Summit 2020.

Bengaluru Tech Summit, is India's flagship event now getting ready for its next edition. This year, the theme of the summit is "Next is Now". The summit will deliberate on the key challenges emerging in the post-pandemic world with focus on the impact of prominent technologies and innovations in the domains of ‘Information Technology & Electronics’ and ‘Biotechnology’.

The Bangalore IT.com established in 1998 and Bangalore BIO in 2000 are the two events of Government of Karnataka that has positioned Bengaluru as one of the most dynamic cities in the world. In the year 2017, these two leading events were brought together under one umbrella event Bengaluru Tech Summit at iconic Bangalore Palace.

Since then BTS has become the place of convergence for the leading cross-sector tech companies to startups, technocrats to young innovators, policymakers to investors, researchers to academia, facilitating dialogue and collaborations.

The Bengaluru Tech Summit will see participation of H.E. Mr. Scott Morrison, Prime Minister of Australia, H.E. Mr. Guy Parmelin, Vice President of the Swiss Confederation and many other prominent international figures. Apart from them, thought leaders, industry captains, technocrats, researchers, innovators, investors, policy makers and educators from India and the world will also be participating in the summit.
