PMO agrees to look into issues of J&K MSMEs

Singh was felicitated by the members of the BBIA on August-30.
Welcoming the Chief Guest, President BBIA, Annil Suri highlighted the various issues related to the industrial sector like restoration of refund of 100 per cent central excise duty paid, 100 per cent income tax exemption for industrial units, applicability of existing industrial package of incentives to existing units, Prime Minister’s task force recommendations on MSME, mother industry, compulsory purchase by central government organization, cross- LOC trade and allocation of funds for common effluent treatment plant and site for hazardous waste disposal, upgradation of infrastructure of industrial estates, development of new industrial estates/power/road connectivity/telecommunication, technology park.
Assuring the gathering of the government’s efforts to resolve the issues related to the industrial sector the Minister encouraged the entrepreneurs to setup industrial units in the State to provide employment to local unemployed youth.
Other dignitaries who attended the function were Deputy Commissioner Samba, Mubarak Singh and senior government officials, industrialists and presidents of industries associations.
