'Progressive Punjab' to showcase business potential of state

Mohali, Nov 28 (KNN)  In an effort to reach out to investors and business leaders, the Government of Punjab has organized a two day summit to showcase opportunities available in Punjab.
 
The first of its kind initiative by the state government, the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit 2013 is scheduled to be held on December 9th and 10th here.
 
“The summit will focus on opportunities for investors in information technology, hardware and electronics, agro and food processing, textiles and light engineering,” said a release from the Deputy Chief Minister Government of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal.
 
Punjab is amongst the leading states of India in terms of industrial investment with a unique combination of a strategic geographic location, talented human resources, excellent infrastructure and unlimited growth opportunities.
 
The message to investors is that Punjab today has become one of the easiest places to do business in India.
 
The event will bring together thought leaders, policy makers, investors and industrialists onto a common platform.  (KNN/ES)
