Puducherry, Aug 19 (KNN) Puducherry will organize an investors meet here on September 16 to attract investments in sectors such as Information Technology, automobile industries, pharmaceuticals and organic farming, said Industries Minister A Namassivayam here on Thursday.

During a chat with media persons, Namassivayam said that Puducherry is a hub of education and the government is planning to ensure job opportunities to those who complete their education.

The Minister further said that investors from all over the world will take part in the meet, adding that some agreements are also expected to be signed on that day itself.

''On the spot, permission would be granted for setting up of industries,'' he added.

He also said that he will visit some major industries in the country and invite them to come to Puducherry to set up their units here.
