Punjab govt to launch Ghar Ghar Rozgar to connect employees-MSMEs

New Delhi, Sept 4 (KNN) Eyeing at facilitating the employee-industry connect in the state of Punjab, the State Government has announced formal launch of the Ghar Ghar Rozgar program of the government.

As a part of the initiative, the state government will be conducting a Employers Meet in Mohali region wherein different sectors of the industry including the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) would be invited to participate and offer jobs to the youth of the state.

Rakesh Verma, Industry Secretary in a press interview informed that the program will help both the industries as well as the locals with a common platform to engage via employment.

He further informed that the conference is expected to attract employers from different segments including the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), large industry as well as mega sector industries from different sectors including manufacturing, retail, construction and food processing.

The MSME sector that employs the larger chunk of population is expected to play a vital role in the state government’s initiative for Punjab. (KNN/DA)
